says 10Boris Johnson will not apologize for false observations by connecting Keir Starmer to the failure of Jimmy Savile, he said his carrier."But obviously he had responsibility for the conduct of the CPS."

I don't think there's any reasonable way to suggest that  comments about Keir Starmer's overall responsibility for the CPS somehow led to the very embarrassing and totally unacceptable harassment that we saw last night.

A source n No 10  said the Prime Minister did not intend to go beyond his condemnation of Starmer's abuses "no more time to prosecute journalists and not prosecute Jimmy Savile.

Labor MPs expressed their anger at  Starmer and Lammy's abuse in Westminster on Monday, with the couple being crammed into a police car to be escorted away from the crowds.

Peers oppose prevent women fleeing rape obtaining refugee

Peers plan prevent women fleeing rape from obtaining refugee status Peers are trying to block plans that could prevent women  fleeing rape, forced marriage, trafficking or female genital mutilation from obtaining refugee status, a decision that critics say was secretly introduced into law on nationality and border immigration. Fellow Labor Lady Lister, with support from  Lady Cushions MP, Liberal Democrat Lord Paddick and the Bishop of Gloucester,  tabled an amendment to the Bill which is due to be discussed on Tuesday. If approved, it will undo a clause added to the controversial bill after the consultation period ended. Colleagues say the late-added clause will seriously harm survivors of gender-based persecution from being recognized as refugees and obtaining protection, a change that will disproportionately affect women and girls. Lawyers say the clause, if approved, will change the way the 1951 UN Refugee Convention is interpreted. Clause 32 of the Convention r...

Evidence police Belfast colluded loyalists Troubles

Evidence police Belfast colluded  loyalists Troubles  Evidence of "collusive behaviour" between police and loyalist paramilitary groups over killings during the Troubles has been uncovered by a surveillance investigation. Marie Anderson, Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland, said she was "deeply concerned" about the "significant shortcomings" she had uncovered in her investigation into Ulster Defense Association homicides and attempted murders ( UDA) in south Belfast in the 1990s. Eight loyalist attacks attributed to the UDA or its Ulster Freedom Fighters (UFF) cover name were examined in the Ombudsman's 344-page report released on Tuesday. Eleven people were killed in the attacks, including five who lost their lives in the attack on bookmaker Sean Graham  in February 1992.  Among his findings, Anderson said Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) records linked to the massacre of certain bookmakers  had been deliberately destroyed. He also said the Special R...
